Last week I posted the different types of guys my girl friends meet through online dating sites like Tinder and Plenty of Fish. It is only fair that I ask my guy friends about the hot messes that they’re meeting online as well. Below is a compilation of the various types of women that they have met while searching for love online.
The Illusionist: This is the girl who uses different camera angles and Instagram filters to completely change what she looks like online. When you go on your first date with her, you will most likely walk right past her and insist to the hostess that she sat you at the wrong table.

The Stage Five Clinger: You will be instantly attracted to this girl because she looks so cute and innocent in her picture. She seems normal during the first few conversations you share with her. Then the nightmare begins. She will continuously text and call you—at all hours of the day and night—to ask you if you’re mad at her and why you are ignoring her. If she cons you into a second date, she will most definitely be introducing you to her parents as “the one.”

The Cake Face: The Cake Face is similar to The Illusionist but uses makeup as her weapon. She will look the same as her online dating profile but there is a slight possibility that she forgot to mention her part-time job as a clown.

The Cougar: Online dating creates the perfect opportunity for older women to stalk their younger prey and of course not be judged. The Cougar is most likely a divorced grandmother trying to return to her glory days and has the plastic surgery receipts to prove it. Steer clear!

The Tease: This is the girl who immediately joined an online dating site after the end of her last relationship. The point is that it was too soon! Eventually you’ll find out you were a rebound when she breaks your poor little online heart and makes her way back to her ex-boyfriend.

The Serial Online Dater: This is the girl who will go to online dating sites and meet a new guy every night. She will rarely go on a date with the same guy twice because she doesn’t use online dating sites to look for love! Her intentions are to ensure that she never has to cook for herself by being treated to dinner every night.
