photo Gary Seward Gary Seward
Gary is a suburban boy living in the big city. At a young age he was deeply influenced by late night talk shows and grew up wanting to be David Letterman. A constant daydreamer, Gary never felt comfortable within any rigid structure but managed to complete a 4-year BA with a concentration in English and Professional Writing from York University. This is where he became immensely attracted to gonzo style journalism. Hunter S. Thompson was his gateway to many other great writers like Chuck Klosterman, Tom Wolfe, Truman Capote and the like. Gary’s passion for real news and human-interest stories are the main driving forces behind his need to be a journalist. By observing, interacting, reacting, and delivering stories in a straightforward manner without preaching a message to anyone watching/listening/reading is very important in Gary’s vision.
