The streets of downtown Toronto became the walkway for some seriously zombified souls at the annual Toronto Zombie Walk. All kinds of participants, dressed in their zombie attire, started gathering at Nathan Phillips Square around 12pm on this dreary, rainy Saturday afternoon. Starting at 3pm, the eager zombies had the opportunity to march (or shamble) their way through the streets of downtown Toronto.
The walk also featured attractions like a float promoting Evil Dead The Musical, complete with free t-shirts being thrown to crowds of spectators. There were also opportunities for these zombie walkers and spectators to view band performances, buy merchandise and partake in other fun activities.
One of the most fascinating and appealing reasons to go to the Toronto Zombie Walk is to appreciate the unique zombie costumes worn by the participants. You can find almost anything, from zombie care bears, to a zombie portrayal of Rosemary and her demon baby from the book/film Rosemary’s Baby. If you like to have fun and enjoy dressing up, you should definitely make it out to the next Toronto Zombie Walk!
