At the North York Civic Centre, the Toronto Youth Cabinet (TYC) presents The Cause 2013, an event that empowers young people through workshops and programs from several local organizations. Some of the workshops enhanced entrepreneurial skills, while others involve life skills and self development through education. These included programs from Centennial and George Brown colleges, which give youth the education and work experience to follow their dreams. Fresh Print also participated in the event letting visitors know what we are about!
Near the end of the event, there were performances at Mel Lastman Square from local talent, including DJ Soul Child, Savannah Re, Scott Jackson and Michael Prosseman from Unity. To find out more about The Cause, and TYC go to www.thetyc.ca
