There’s a new beer in town Toronto! Canadian food celebrity and restauranteur, Zane Caplansky, launched Deli King Spiced Dark Rye Lager to celebrate his 46th birthday. Created in partnership with Greg Landucci of Barley Days Brewery, this beer is brewed with the same spices used to prepare the restaurant’s smoked meat. Comically, Deli King’s tap handle is a large meat fork. The beer is currently available at Caplansky’s Delicatessen (356 College St), and will be available at the two Caplansky’s locations slated to open this summer at Toronto Pearson International Airport locations. The beer is served with a pickle garnish and is $7.25 a pint and $8.00 a 650ml bottle.
